Do You Know Why Homefresh Experience is People’s Choice #Cooking Fun?
Just ask this People’s Choice Credit Union group that recently enjoyed a very fun-filled food “corporate teamwork bonding” night at Homefresh Experience.
This “very enthusiastic” group started out as TEAM BLUE and TEAM RED, but what happened throughout the night, I think even surprised them; and all through the love and enjoyment of this Homefresh Experience with food!
For those reader unfamiliar with People’s Choice Credit Union, it is “one of Australia’s most successful member-owned financial institutions.”
Being “member-owned” their “customers and owners are the same” — their members.
Everything People’s Choice Credit Union do is designed to benefit their members.
The “ever charming and animated,” food knowledgeable host was Chef Jean-Claude, who is an internationally renowned chef and “the face” of Homefresh Experience.
As you have come to know by now, Homefresh Experiences cooking classes as “very hands on” and “very food interactive” with tasks assigned individually, as teams and as “a group,” like in Simple #French Homefresh Experience creating Chef Jean-Claude’s “now infamous” Coq Au Vin from his Legendary Cuisine Cookbook!
With food preparation well on its way, there was lots of picking, chopping, dicing and slicing!
Who would win?
TEAM RED?
TEAM BLUE?
BOTH teams were initially “very competitive,” but in a jovial way!
Chef Jean-Claude created a bit of a “team bonding food game challenge” with everyone taking their turn crushing garlic in the mortar and pestle that had to do with the letters in everyone’s name!
Suffice it it say, if your name was Al, you were laughing, but if your name was Stefanopolis (as a first name), you had a bit more “team bonding crushing garlic” to do!
Was it “strength in numbers” or an “individual task” to S-Q-U-E-E-Z-E out the water in this team bonding grated zucchini challenge?
Everyone cheered this member of TEAM BLUE on!
Do You Know Why Homefresh Experience is People’s Choice #Cooking Fun?
Because two teams were now becoming one!
I “wondered” at this point WHAT was going on?; as was simply “team building magic!”
Was TEAM RED cheering on TEAM BLUE?
Was TEAM BLUE happy to take the lead or were THEY demonstrating they were part of the People’s Choice “teamwork food bonding” on the night?
TEAM RED was actually enjoying taking photos of TEAM BLUE?; as it “seemed” both teams were “a group of the same color” by this point!
With eggplant roasted, the salad was done, it was now time for Chef Jean-Claude’s “food related” stories of fun; as everything else was baking!
There were appetizers served based on “both group’s combined efforts!”
I had to admit, I loved the use of the leftover chicken, chicken stock, paprika, garlic and “secret team bonding” ingredients inside Lebanese bread pockets! YUM!
Did I previously mention the “team building cooking challenge?”
Who would cook?
Would TEAM RED cook for TEAM BLUE?
Would TEAM BLUE cook for TEAM RED?
BOTH teams “simultaneously” decided to “cook together” instead!; no prompting needed!
Honestly, it was GREAT to see!
With Chef Jean-Claude serving up what BOTH teams did create, what happened (again) after eating was also “food fun” and “great!”
Do You Know Why Homefresh Experience is People’s Choice #Cooking Fun?
I think you and the group now do!
As the night was not about being competitive, but I think “each and every member” of both teams realized that each member was an important part of The People’s Choice “team!”
I think everyone had fun and on the night and was a great “corporate team building” food session!
In every food experience shared, there is always a unique life lesson!
